Simpson College Athletics is seeking a creative, motivated, and collaborative individual to serve as a Creative Content and Digital Engagement Specialist. Supported by the NCAA Division III Pathway to Excellence Grant, this entry-level position will play an important role in enhancing the student-athlete experience and advancing the department’s digital presence through content creation, livestream support, and daily operational assistance.

Simpson College Athletics is seeking a creative, motivated, and collaborative individual to serve as a Creative Content and Digital Engagement Specialist. Supported by the NCAA Division III Pathway to Excellence Grant, this entry-level position will play an important role in enhancing the student-athlete experience and advancing the department’s digital presence through content creation, livestream support, and daily operational assistance.
Primary Responsibilities
Create digital content highlighting student-athletes, teams, and the overall Simpson athletics experience through video, photography, graphics, and social media in support of recruitment and retention efforts.
Assist with department-wide social media management, including content planning, development, posting, and performance tracking.
Support livestream and in-venue videoboard operations through graphics, video, and run-of-show preparation.
Assist with day-to-day department operations, including front desk coverage, event support, and student-athlete interaction.
What You’ll Gain

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, sports media, marketing, digital media, sport management, or related field.
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
Experience with social media platforms, content creation, and/or video production.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Experience working in college athletics, sports information, athletic communications, or a related field is preferred.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
