What You’ll Do
This position will be responsible for the comprehensive technical and operational management of athletic events to ensure seamless game flow and accurate record-keeping. This includes operating and maintaining scoreboard systems, managing shot clock operations for basketball games, maintaining official game books and statistics, recording detailed game statistics using Presto Sports software, and providing music and sound coordination as event DJ. The specialist ensures all technical aspects of game presentation run smoothly while maintaining accurate documentation of game activities and statistics for official records and reporting purposes.

· Manage shot clock operations during basketball games, including proper timing, resets, and coordination with game officials

The specialist ensures all technical aspects of game presentation run smoothly while maintaining accurate documentation of game activities and statistics for official records and reporting purposes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

· Operate and maintain electronic scoreboard systems for all athletic events, ensuring accurate display of scores, time, and game information

· Manage shot clock operations during basketball games, including proper timing, resets, and coordination with game officials

· Maintain official game books and scorekeeping records in accordance with league and institutional regulations

· Record comprehensive game statistics and data entry using Presto Sports software system for official reporting

· Provide music coordination and DJ services during games, including pre-game, halftime, timeouts, and promotional segments

· Compile and submit post-game statistical reports and documentation to appropriate personnel

· Deliver clear, professional public address announcements for baseball, softball, and basketball games including player introductions, starting lineups, and substitutions

· Announce game statistics, scores, and time updates throughout contests to keep spectators informed

· Provide live play-by-play commentary describing game action in real-time with accuracy and excitement for baseball, softball, and basketball broadcasts

· Deliver expert color commentary including strategic analysis, player insights, and contextual information that educates and engages audiences
