Job Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Athletics Operations Student Assistant is a member of the ISU Athletics staff hired on a per-semester basis depending on performance. The candidate will report to the Athletics Facilities/Operations Manager and will work in close cooperation with the Athletics Facilities/Operations Manager and other department staff to plan and implement sporting events, facility setup, as well as in the equipment room assisting with laundry and maintaining uniforms and travel bags. The responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Preparation of athletic facilities for events; operation of scoreboard and music as needed; liaison to visiting teams and officials; serve on the ball crew (soccer, volleyball); occasional office work such as data entry, faxing, copying, deliveries, etc; laundry; preparation of travel bags; and other duties as assigned.
