Role Summary:

The softball team manager will assist the coaching staff in all aspects of the program. Responsibilities will be assigned by the coaching staff.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist coaching staff in all aspects of the softball program
2. Attend as many team events as possible outside of academic commitments
3. Communicate with coaching staff clearly and effectively
4. Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects periodically

Credentials and Experience:

1. No experience required.
2. Experience with: working odd hours, sports background
3. Proficiency with: communication skills, time management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Examples:

• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing activities, expectations, and responsibilities.

• Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to think critically, effectively prioritize, plan, and organize multiple tasks and projects and meet set deadlines without immediate and constant supervision.

• Knowledge of customer service standards and the ability to communicate effectively Visiting teams, coaches, officials and fans,
