Job Description:

The Iowa State Athletics Department is accepting applications for an Athletics Tickets Coordinator. This position is responsible for all aspects of ticket operations for assigned sports and events hosted by the department.

• Direct setup and maintenance of ticket sales
• Implement mobile ticketing and maintain competence of computer ticketing system and liaise with vendor
• Work directly with donors on seating assignments and implement priority seating guidelines
• Work with unit on ticket pricing and special promotion ideas
• Assists with the fulfillment and distribution of season and group tickets
• Manages the box office and serves as ticket supervisor at assigned events
• Manages the comp ticket request process through Arms for student-athletes, coaches, and staff
• Responsible for end of season sales reports and cleanup
• Provides exceptional customer service, builds relationships, explains offerings to customers, verifies and processes ticket orders, issues refunds, and resolves customer issues
• Responsible for adhering to the rules and regulations of the department, University, Big 12 Conference, andNCAA

The successful candidate will have solid ticketing software skills, be highly organized, and have focus on customer service. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse population. Must be available to work at assigned events that often occur on evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight travel to events.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.

• May provide guidance to students
