This recruitment will be used to fill three part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Athletics Ticket Office positions for Intercollegiate Athletics at Oregon State University (
OSU
).
The Ticket Office student worker job is a unique and exciting opportunity for individuals that are interested in a career in collegiate athletics. Students will gain knowledge in the day to day operations of an athletic ticket office by working hours during the week and at ticketed sporting events throughout the year, as well as working closely with other areas in the Athletic Department.
Provide quality customer service to season ticket holders & donors
Effectively communicate all ticket policies and procedures
Assisting with window and phone sales for all ticketed events using Paciolian ticketing software
Daily printing and distribution of tickets
Developing skills in sales, service, operations and
NCAA
Compliance
NCAA
postseason event experience
Other projects as assigned

Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program
Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term
Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term*
Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term
Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term*
*International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered “full-time” by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (
USCIS
). A reduced course load is approved by the Office of International Services (
OIS
), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.
Attend all office hours and events as assigned (including afternoon, night and weekend games)
Interns are never required to miss class to work events
Must be able to work all home Football games
Genuine interest in college athletics and the sport industry
Ability to manage time commitment and be dedicated to all required office and event hours
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and keep up with the fast-paced environment
Commit to work from Feb 2024-June 2024
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Criminal History Check and be determined to be position qualified as per
OSU
Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in Youth Programs may have additional Criminal History Checks every 2 years.
