Apply NowThe Softball Team Manager must possess a broad knowledge of the game. They must understand all signals used by officials, and they must be able to follow the game. They must understand the terminology used in softball and understand the rules of college softball and the NCAA. During practice, The Softball Team Manager will handle the daily equipment needs for the team and the student-athletes. They also may keep track of time, keep score and track statistics during drills. The Softball Team Manager will need to use software programs and a laptop or tablet computer to keep statistical information from all of the team’s games and practices. They may occasionally video tape practices and/or games. The Softball Team Manager must exhibit proper conduct when representing the team. They must follow the rules of the team, NCAA and the University. Team managers must show sportsmanship, respectfulness, and courtesy. They must adhere to team policies for dress and appearance.
Good oral and written communications skills;Ability to work nights/weekends as team schedule requires.Knowledge of sport a plus.Ability to work well with others.Ability to maintain a reliable and dependable attendance record.Ability to follow directions and work independently.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs with appropriate accommodations if needed.
