AY24-25 Graduate Assistant - Athletics & Recreation, Academic Support & Leadership
Apply NowThe Graduate Assistant (GA) will work 20 hours per week and receive up to 24 credits of tuition and student fee waivers: 9 for fall, 9 for spring and 6 for summer.
Overview/Responsibilities:
This position provides growth opportunity for a graduate student such as:
gaining experience with social mdia
building communication skills via email, FrontRush communication software, and in collaboration with other departments with workshops and programming
working one on one with student-athletes who need academic support and will be invited to attend department meetings
learning how to be a professional in a very busy, student-facing environment.
Required Qualifications:
Admission into a
BSU
Graduate Program
Preferred Qualifications:
Leadership experience as an undergraduate student.
Academic success as an undergraduate student.
Ability to communicate successfully via writing and social media.
Ability to work independently.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 25 pounds with support.
