Caldwell University invites applications for a full-time Bookstore Manager. Responsible to the Assistant Vice President for Athletics for managing Bookstore Operations. Job duties include, but are not limited to;

balancing charge terminal.
Maintain accounting records of store activity. Deposit receipts, record and submit University charges, track payment of invoices, track use of credits, and track monthly and yearly financial activity.
Conduct annual inventory of merchandise.
Schedule the work hours for staff and work-study students. Oversee and train work-study students and clerical employees.
Prepare various reports. Establish goals and objectives for the store operations.
Process all receiving into the point of sales system; print barcodes, etc.
Plan store promotions and sales events to include design of flyers to advertise events.
Monitor and maintain inventory of clothing, supplies, sundries and other merchandise etc, to include stocking, organizing, and re-ordering.
Maintain convenient store hours for the purchasing of supplies. Expand store hours as necessary.
Maintain an orderly stock room and keep the store stocked, clean and neat.
Assist in developing promotions and sales for special occasions and events.
Assist in ordering merchandise for the store.
Order stationery, office supplies, novelties, sundries, clothing and so forth.
Order graduation, freshman, and academic attire and supplies.
Oversee College ring and diploma framing sales.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus two to three years of effective experience. Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed. Candidates must be willing to support the Catholic Dominican mission of the university.
