The Broadcast Operations Coordinator is responsible for live video streaming operations for most of Cortland’s home athletics contests. The coordinator will oversee the technical aspects of the broadcasts (cameras, computers, sound equipment, streaming software) and supervise students who are working on the broadcasts.
Cortland Athletics produces video broadcasts for most of its sports, including football, men’s and women’s soccer, field hockey, women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s ice hockey, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, women’s gymnastics, wrestling, baseball, softball, and men’s and women’s lacrosse.
Train students in all aspects of broadcasting, including announcing duties.
Assist and help troubleshoot any issues that arise with the broadcasting operation.
Occasionally works as an announcer on the broadcasts.
Minimum 1 year broadcasting experience
