Job Summary

Student workers for the Building Services Crew will support Athletics Special Events and Building Services departments with execution of events and daily tasks.

Essential Functions

Assist with duties supporting the Office of Special Events as assigned, including but not limited to: Assisting with event setup and breakdown for special events. Delivering and unloading stock. Setting up and breaking down tables and chairs. Assisting in prepping venues prior to events, i.e., blowing/vacuuming leaves. Checking trash, and replacing trash liners. Communicating and executing what needs to be done in order for a venue to be presentable. Performing tasks both individually and as a team with limited supervision. Following verbal and written directions and diagrams.  Executing tasks independently with minimal supervision. Operating power tools. Maintaining an organized work environment. 

Minimum Qualifications

Enrolled student at Auburn University. At least 18 years of age. Ability to work in variable weather conditions, with loud crown noise. Ability to work 10-20 hours a week and during all Auburn Athletics home athletic games. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
