We are currently seeking a full-time onsite Business Assistant in our Administrative Business Services office . This position will assist and support the Business Manager for the Athletics department. The pay for this position is $17/hr.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as the initial resource and point of contact for Athletics department communication and implementation of university and NCAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as the initial resource and point of contact for Athletics department communication and implementation of university and NCAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
Adhere to all NCAA bylaws, Horizon League regulations, and PFW academic policies and procedures.
Prepare, process, and resolve discrepancies for various internal and external documents including individual and team travel reconciliations.
Audit documents, reports, and misc. budgeting projects prepared by the department and work with staff to resolve any issues.
Follow-up on the status of purchases and payments.
Serve as the department’s resident expert for Pcard policy, transactions, reconciliation, and issues.
Create and manage all P-card applications and change forms for each card.
Collaborate with human resources concerning onboarding and payroll documents and issues.
Prepare and process purchase orders.
Maintain Athletics department business office materials, forms, backup documentation, and files.
Requirements:
A High School diploma or GED.
At least 3 years of general office experience working with accounting, or other business-related functions.
Excellent computer and related software skills, e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, database, data inquiry, internet, etc.
Able to complete work tasks with competing priorities and interruptions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Preferences:
An Associate’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
Accounting process experience in a university setting.
Prior experience with ERP system.
