_ BIG FUN - BIG TIME - BIG 12! _

The BYU Special Events Staff is looking for fun and energetic people to help greet and assist guests while at the Marriott Center for our inaugural season in the BIG 12 Conference.

Positions include but are not limited to Ticket Scanners, Portal Ushers, and many others. Be a part of Cougar Nation, not just as a fan but as a BYU Special Events family member.

You are our eyes and ears at these events. You will be responsible for:

• Greeting & directing guests
• Scanning and checking tickets
• Problem-solving
• Ensuring venue policies are upheld

You must be:

• 16 years of age or older
• Dependable
• Professional
• Friendly
• Punctual
• Excellent at positively engaging guests
• Outstanding communication skills
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Repetitive stair climbing may be required
• Previous customer service experience a plus, but we will train you regardless of your experience.

Time Commitment:

Applicants are required to work all home men's basketball games during the 2024 Winter Semester.

• Tuesday, January 16th - Iowa State @ 7:00 PM
• Tuesday, January 23rd - Houston @ 7:00 PM
• Saturday, January 27th - Texas @ 12:00 PM
• Saturday, February 10th - Kansas State @ 8:00 PM
• Tuesday, February 13th - UFC @ 7:00 PM
• Tuesday, February 20th - Baylor @ 7:00 PM
• Saturday, March 2nd - TCU @ 7:00 PM
• Saturday, March 9th - Oklahoma State @ 7:00 PM

*Schedule Subject To Change

Check-in time for most events will be approximately 2 hours BEFORE the event start time. Most events range between 3-6 hours but events do vary.

Members of the BYU Special Event Staff are eligible to work other campus events including but not limited to:

• Devotionals
• Women's Basketball
• Gymnastics
• Men's Volleyball
• And Much More!
