Central Connecticut State University, a NCAA Division 1 institution and a member of the Northeast Conference invites applications for the full-time Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in the department of Athletics. The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach will play a vital role in the design and implementation of the Strength and Conditioning programs of the assigned sports.

Central Connecticut is an NCAA Division I institution competing as a full member of the Northeast Conference and is eligible for the NEC’s automatic qualification to the NCAA Tournament. Position Profile

The successful candidate will be assisting the Director in instructing and organizing all aspects of the Sports Performance/Strength and Conditioning Program for assigned sports including training, technical supervision, evaluation and preparation for practices and competition. The incumbent’s duties will include but are not limited to; assist Director in the overall operations of the Mike Knapp Weight room including maintenance, ordering equipment and inventory; assist with the organization and implementation of the Sports Dietician program currently established; provide supervision and professional scheduling and staff coverage. The successful candidate must maintain professional certifications established by the NCAA.

Due to the nature of events, flexibility in work schedules is required.
