Wheeling University, a Catholic university, invites applications for a Career Services Coordinator, part time. This position collaborates with other staff, aligning student programs and services to create an intentional, holistic student experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversee all aspects of career services and experiential learning opportunities.Â
Responsible to deliver high quality, relevant and timely career and job placement services to undergraduate and graduate students. Coordinate and train a campus-wide network of Career Advisors to provide front-line career services to students (resumes, cover letters, job search strategies, interview preparation); career advisors may include athletic coaches, student services and/or faculty.
Prepare and facilitate career related programs in curricular and co-curricular venues including coordinating graduate school, internship and job fairs Collaborate with faculty and community partners to assist in experiential learning and internship placement in preparing students for graduate, professional schools and career placement.
Responsible to create and execute job placement activities including on-campus recruiting and interviewing programs, student participation in regional job fairs and development of networks with employers and industry recruiters.
 Responsible to develop alumni and employer networks to facilitate internship and employment opportunities.
Responsible to facilitate graduate and alumni career surveys; prepare detailed reports about career and graduate school placement rates. Responsible to present written information about Career Services for internal and external clients including use of social media.
 Represent and connect the University within local, regional and national networks; serve as an advocate for University graduates in the job market and application to graduate school.
Represent Career Services to other departments and off-campus agencies; serve on various division and campus-wide committees as appropriate.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required or Master's degree preferred in Counseling, Business Administration, Marketing or related field. Three yearsâ experience in career services, human resources or the recruiting/staffing industry will be considered
