Other Conditions: Casual Hire temporary appointment is expected begin March 2026 or soon
thereafter. Not to exceed one year.

Duties:

1. Assists the Head Coach and Baseball Program with:

   • Developing a program that will be competitive in the Pacific West Conference.
   • Planning, scheduling and conducting team practices and workouts.
   • Managing all aspects of home contests, including coordination of facilities and officials.

2. Responsible for ordering, keeping inventory and maintenance of uniforms, supplies and equipment.

3. Responsible for field maintenance and field improvement.

4. Responsible for completing and submitting all required compliance forms and timely submission of CARA and recruit logs.

5. Know and abide by the rules, regulations and policies of the University of Hawaii, the Athletics Department, the Pacific West Conference and the NCAA.

6. Perform other duties/functions as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 1. Possession of a baccalaureate degree or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated. 2. Two (2) years-experience coaching Baseball at the high school or collegiate level. 3. Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. 4. Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.

Desirable Qualifications: 1. Prior NCAA DII coaching experience. 2. Played at the collegiate level (DI, DII, DIII, NAIA) or Professional Baseball, any level 3. Understands Baseball Analytics 4. Knowledge of Driveline, Rapsodo, Trackman, Diamond Kinetics, etc. 5. Knowledge and experience using 6-4-3 Chart Analysis or similar 6. Knowledge and experience charting games
