Summary/Objective
We are looking to hire a Lees-McRae student who is a motivated and reliable attendant to organize and supervise community play in the CD Chesley Indoor Courts. The attendant will be responsible for planning and executing activity programs, assisting participants, and ensuring that the facilities and equipment are clean and safe for use.
To be successful as an attendant you should be able to deliver exceptional customer service and devise engaging and enjoyable activities. An outstanding attendant should have a lot of patience, a positive attitude, and be comfortable working with all people.
Essential Functions
Monitoring activities in the facility to encourage safety protocols are followed.
Maintaining and cleaning recreation equipment and facilities.
Assisting participants during activities.
Planning and organizing activity programs under the supervision of our Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
Normal office environment where there is no physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise and the like when in the facility. May require outside work where there may be discomfort due to outdoor weather-related conditions (heat, cold, rain, sunshine, etc.).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday in 2-hour shift increments. The director will work around the employee’s class schedule to create a conducive work schedule.
Monday 10:00am-12:00pm
Tuesday and Thursdays 10:00am-1:00pm
Wednesday 10:00am-12:00pm
Friday 10:00am-12:00pm
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must be a current student of Lees-McRae College.
