Principal Duties:
- Serve as the Clinical Coordinator for the MSAT Program.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses within the MSAT and the Department of Kinesiology.
- Participate in assessment of student learning, grading and evaluation of course outcomes. Practice continuous quality improvement of courses based on student and peer instructor feedback.
- Assist the Program Director with the admissions process including student recruitment, meeting and exceeding accreditation standards from CAATE.
- Assist with development of interprofessional education/practice.
- Engage in scholarly activities.
- Contribute to the mission of the department and engage in University service.
Other duties include:
- Participate regularly in program meetings and lead or facilitate committees as assigned.
- Supervise teaching assistants and student workers.
- Chair and serve on AT Program work groups that evaluate clinical curriculum development and learning outcomes.

Required
Terminal Degree
Earned clinical or post-professional doctoral degree in Athletic Training or related field (DAT, DSc, EdD, ScD, DrPH, PhD).
Minimum of 5 years practice experience as an athletic trainer.
Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills including engagement in inter-professional, collaborative, and collegial interactions.
Minimum of 2 years experience in instruction and supervision of athletic training students.
Required
BOC - Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer
BOC certification and eligible for licensure in Wisconsin.
Full Time: 100%
It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
