OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for coaching the University of Rochester’s Men’s Club Rugby team in game strategies, techniques, and working towards the team’s overall success.

• Ability to manage 20+ guys during practices.
• Builds strong relationships with players.
• Makes lineup decisions.
• Attends weekly matches and tournaments (about five per semester).

Responsibilities

• Ability to effectively communicate with the team.
• Ability to foster a community centered environment with an emphasis on player development and safety.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate has at least two-years of rugby experience for both teams of 15 (15s) and teams of seven (7s). Preferred experience in both forward and back knowledge.
• Certified through World Rugby.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $16.92 - $23.69 Hourly

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined byconsidering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
