Responsibilities

OVERVIEW

The Men’s Ice Hockey Assistant Coach reports to the Club Sports staff advisor and the team’s student executive board; providing direction to both the Men’s and Women’s programs. This position supports game strategies, techniques, and works towards the team’s overall success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build a sponsorship program with local businesses to secure financial support for the club.
• Ensure all club partnerships run smoothly to maintain lasting relationships.
• Serve as a liaison between the student executive board and staff members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the performance and competitiveness of each program.
• Additional duties; such as, recruiting and retaining players, organizing team events and activities, marketing, and assisting in budget management for the programs, are assigned as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School and 1 year of relevant coaching experience required.
• Hockey coaching experience preferred.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $17.43 - $24.40 Hourly

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined byconsidering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
