What you will do:
Ensure all aspects of Club Sports athletic programs comply with University standards and conference and national affiliation rules and regulations. Identify potential risk and helps in establishing criteria and plans for correction.
Coach, counsel, advise and mentor student athletes.
Work in association with the Club Sports Director and ensure the proper and student-athlete certifications as required by NCAA and University guidelines.
Explain and demonstrate the principles, techniques, and methods of regulating movement of the human body, kinesiology, biomechanics, etc. to achieve proficiency in the assigned activity or sport.
Observe students during practice to encourage good athletic skills and provide guidance for improvements. Assess student-athlete capabilities. Explain and demonstrate use of apparatus and equipment.
What you need:
1 years’ work experience in a similar capacity.
Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record and occasionally operates University vehicles.
CPR, First Aid and Coaches’ Safety Training certifications required; AED training preferred.
