Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license, certification and/or educational degree if required of the position.
- Position will participate in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Pull Notice System.
- Extensive coaching or riding instructor experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of Western and/or Hunter Seat disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
- CurrentCPR& First Aid certification or must obtain within 30 days from date of hire and certified bi-annually.
- Knowledge of and experience in recruitment of student-athletes.
- Experience as an NCEA student-athlete in horsemanship and/or reigning events.
- Experience with securing donated horses.
- Ability to learn the complex policies and procedures regarding academic eligibility of UC Davis student-athletes. These include UC Davis, Conference and the NCAA policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of NCEA format.

Please Note: Recruitment period will be for 1 Month. Applicants will be screened after two weeks, then on a weekly basis thereafter. This position can be filled prior to the removal date.
