The Opportunity:

West Liberty University is looking for an NCAA Compliance Coordinator to ensure athletic programs compliance with appropriate governing athletics associations, conference and institutional rules and regulations related to recruitment, eligibility, admissions, financial aid, housing and the physical welfare of student athletes.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning, evaluating, developing, implementing and maintaining athletic programs in compliance with established guidelines.
• Serves as an expert resource and liaison for the institution and its athlete programs using advance knowledge of pertinent laws, codes, policies, and/or regulations pertaining to athletic program compliance.
• Collaborates with internal and external personnel (athletic directors, administrators, auditors, etc.) for the purpose of implementing and/or maintaining athletic programs and related services in an effective, timely and compliant manner.
• Investigates complaints and possible wrongdoing related to athletic programs for the purpose of ensuring that program activities are conducted in a fair, consistent and legally compliant manner.
• Other duties as required or assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
• Two years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
