Responsible for the contest set-up and take-down for all Nebraska Athletic games, practices, and other events (graduations, youth camps, booster events) that are held at the Devaney Sports Center, the Outdoor Track, the Hendricks & Allen Training Complexes, and the Hibner/Dillon Complex. Determine needs, supervise and schedule staff to work all required events.
Assist with the building and ground maintenance at these locations which includes, but is not limited to, painting offices, repairing minor drywall damage, mowing and landscape, assisting with snow removal, and fixing mechanical issues on outdoor and indoor equipment. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion. Must be available to work nights and weekends when warranted.

High school or equivalent experience and four years of event set-up and take-down experience with at least two years supervisory experience. Ability to assist with repair, maintenance, renovation, grounds and construction of Athletic facilities’ maintenance systems and equipment. Computer experience and good interpersonal/communication skills. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
