Athletics while meeting brand standards, primarily focusing on the video needs of the department.
Bachelor’s degree – Sports Management or Sports Marketing
Zero to six months experience with in-game manager for fan engagement; social media coordinator; and sports marketing.
3-5 years experience in creative services, preference for experience creating content for a sports team or organization; knowledge and commitment to
NCAA
Division II rules.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive digital and social media strategy with a key focus on elevating fan engagement, growing our social media communities and enhancing the
UTD
Athletics brand
Support the management of graphic design needs for
UTD
Athletics and individual sports teams for website, social media, in-venue and other digital platforms
Occasional travel with
UTD
Athletics programs to provide further coverage
Maintain best practices to ensure content strategy is in line with audience trends

Employee agrees to abide by the Code of Ethics as set forth by the University of Texas at Dallas and the University of Texas System; Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and able to learn and use institutional software systems; Complies with all State and University policies; other duties as assigned by Director of Athletics and Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs.
Expected to work extended hours, early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays during athletic seasons. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs., travel on a bus or in vans for an extended period of time, and must be able to stand on feet outside for a long period of time. Must be able to work on a team, and adjust to schedules that may change. Must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver license within six months of hire and have an acceptable driving record. Eligible for remote work after surpassing six-month probationary period.
Must possess and maintain a valid Texas
driver’s
license with an acceptable driving record at the time of hire.
Remote Work Notice
After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in-office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. Must be located within the
DFW
Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
