Set-up facilities for athletic events, practices and outside events
Consult with coaches and Assistant AD for Facilities and Event Operations to prepare athletic facilities for practice and competition. Consult with the Assistant AD and clients to confirm setup needs for the event. This position will be charged with carrying event requests/needs. This individual should have specific knowledge directly associated with NCAA rules and regulations.
Oversee and manage concessions operation
Order product, inventory, maintain quality control of product, follow the guidelines and regulations of Guilford County Health Codes. Ability to operate all concessions while managing the close out of concessions. This individual will be directly responsible for reconciliation of money and inventory.
Event Operations Director
Must be able to organize and prioritize events. The ability to manage game day staff, visiting teams, and coaches. This individual will work closely with the Assistant AD as well as facility operations staff and campus police to ensure that the events are set to completion.
General maintenanceand repair work
Supervise student workforce to assist with facility cleaning and maintenance using numerous tools and equipment. Ability to perform minor repairs on all athletic facilities. The repair/upgrade work may include painting (indoor/outdoor), pressure washing, and extensive cleaning. Must be able to perform tasks in which lifting is required. Utilizing skills to assist with painting and maintaining all athletic facilities

Knowledge of federal and state policies affecting program areas. Ability to reference, research, and apply to address client and program needs. General knowledge of the purpose of the program’s organization including its mission, services, clients and measures of business effectiveness. Ability to process daily actions and requests within established guidelines and with knowledge of operational processes and procedures. Ability to use applicable technology, webbased data systems and programs needed to complete work assignments.
