The Coordinator of Marketing at Florida Atlantic University Athletics is a skilled professional who reports to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Marketing and Brand. This role is responsible for advancing the Athletic Department's marketing and promotions to increase revenue, boost attendance, and strengthen brand awareness, while enhancing the visibility of FAU Athletics through strategic efforts with assigned sports and other projects.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary marketing contact for men’s basketball and baseball, to include the creation and execution of all marketing, scripting, game production, email marketing, sponsorship activation, group outreach and promotional plans.
Serve as the secondary marketing contact for football alongside the Sr. Assoc. AD, Marketing & Brand, assisting with fan engagement initiatives and game day operations.
Collaborate with coaches, creative services, communications, ticketing, development, sponsorship and other external partners to ensure cohesive storytelling and branding across all platforms.
Collaborate with Paradise Club, ticketing and multimedia rights holder in helping the department achieve revenue generation initiatives and goals.
Collaborates with multiple campus departments in efforts to drive student attendance and engagement.
Oversee the mascot program, including but not limited to, scheduling, performance standards, brand consistency, and student-performer recruitment.
Provide general oversight and strategic planning for the FAU Marketing Internship Program, including hiring, training, and mentorship.
Other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.
Knowledge of current trends in social and content marketing required.
Supervisory skills required.
Salary:
$55,000 - $65,000 per year.
