The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women’s and 10 men’s programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation’s premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as “The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory.
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Coordinator of Admin Services for the Athletics Compliance department. This position reports to the Deputy Athletic Director for Compliance.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
Assists with managing all aspects of compliance monitoring, including, but not limited to, student-athlete forms, recruiting activities, and playing and practice seasons.
Assists coaches in regards to recruiting contact and evaluation logs, reactive call monitoring, and team activity logs.
Manages transition to the new monitoring software “
ARMS
,” and implements new policies and procedures on the platform.
Assists with the compliance oversight of sport programs in regard to
NCAA
rules education and interpretations.
Serves as a liason for mutliple departments within the
DIA
along with three (3) sports program, along with being a secondary compliance liaison for one (1) program and helps manage all facets of compliance for those programs.
Serves as the compliance liaison for the cheer/dance program.
Assists in the creation of educational materials for student-athletes.
Provides game day support at various sporting events.
Executes other duties assigned to assist the Office of Athletic Compliance with day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience in the field.

- Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail required.
- Moderate working knowledge of NCAA Division I rules.
- Working knowledge of Word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

- Advanced degree.
- Experience using LSDBi, Eligibility Center, ARMS.

- Computer to include all Microsoft software, access to JumpForward, access to NCAA applications, and access to Teamworks.
