Summary/Objective
The Coordinator of Athletic Recruitment will jointly report to the Director of Athletics and Club Sports and the Senior Vice President for Enrollment Management. The position will be primarily responsible for handling outreach for all club sports, as well as some varsity sports. Duties include sending emails, making phone calls, and texting to high school coaches, club teams, climbing gyms, equestrian centers, and community colleges. The position will handle coordination between prospective student-athletes, high school coaches, and Lees-McRae coaches and staff. Sending invitations for campus visits, replies to prospective student-athletes, and assist with getting prospective student-athletes and their coaches to attend Regional Information Sessions, Accepted Student Receptions, School Counselor Breakfasts, Open Houses, Academic Preview Days, Accepted Student Days, and Orientation programs will be required. Assisting with content creation and development of marketing materials for athletics and athletic teams is required.

Normal office environment where there is no physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise and the like.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work will vary. Maximum of 30 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Some travel may be required for this position.
