Job Responsibilities

The coordinator will have the following duties:

• Assist the Director and Associate Director in the day-to-day operations of the Athletic Communications department.
• Produce consistent fresh and innovative content across RIT's Athletic social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitterand Facebook.
• Serve as the primary contact for multiple sports as assigned.
• Help maintainwww.ritathletics.comon a daily basis, including rosters, schedules and archival information.
• Generate ideas and produce feature stories as assigned to promote the RIT student-athlete experience to the campus community, as well as on the local, regional and national levels.
• Provide appropriate game day coverage for all contests, home and away.

Required Qualifications

Candidates will receive consideration based on the following:

• A bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent xperience.
• Previous experience working in either an Athletic Communications/Sports Information office or in a multimedia field.
• Experience driving effective social media strategies.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with desktop publishing programs, including Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
• Experience with the latest industry standard scorekeeping software platforms, including NCAA Live Stats and Statcrew.
