The Coordinator of Procurement and Travel is a key role within the Business Operations office of Tennessee State Athletics program, responsible for coordinating procurement activities and assisting operations personnel with travel administration for student-athletes, coaches, and staff. This position coordinates purchasing processes, vendor relationships, and travel logistics to support the program’s operational needs.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sports Management, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum two years’ experience in procurement, travel coordination, or a similar role within a collegiate athletics program or related environment.
Familiarity with
NCAA
and conference travel regulations and procurement guidelines preferred.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Excellent communication, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in procurement software, travel booking platforms, and relevant software applications.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative team environment.
Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a criminal background check as mandated by Tennessee State University.
