Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Attend sporting events based on editor's scheduling
• Shoot and edit photos for UND sports stories
• Collaborate with UND athletics staff for possible photo reproductions

Required Competencies

• Experience shooting and editing photos
• Understanding of photography basics
• Familiarity with Dakota Student topics & UND sports
• Ability to work on deadline

Minimum Requirements

• Able to take photos, edit and attend meetings on weekends
• Excellent understanding of photo editing software and apps
• Understanding the priority of news
• Ability to identify potential article ideas
