Manhattan College is looking for the next Assistant Coach of the Jasper Dancers.
The Jasper Dancers are a nationally recognized dance team, having won the 2019 Division I Hip Hop national championship in Daytona, Florida. They attend NDA in Daytona annually competing in hip hop and jazz. They also perform regularly at all home men's and women's basketball games, pep rally's, and other large, school-wide events, functions, or athletic events. They must maintain a safe environment for students to participate. The Assistant Coach works with the Head Coach and is responsible for the recruitment of students and tryouts, weekly practices, and choreography of routines. They, along with the Head Coach, are responsible for all logistics and ordering associated with the team, marketing, uniforms and costumes, along with fundraising required by the group. This is a part-time position.
