About the Role:

The Defensive Football Assistant Coach will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing the skills of our football team members while fostering a positive and competitive environment. This position requires collaboration with the head coach to design and implement training programs that focus on both individual and team performance. The assistant coach will also be responsible for analyzing game footage to provide constructive feedback and strategies for improvement. Additionally, this role involves mentoring players, promoting teamwork, and ensuring adherence to the rules and regulations of the sport. Ultimately, the assistant coach will contribute to the overall success of the team, both on and off the field, by instilling discipline, sportsmanship, and a love for the game.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Previous experience in coaching or playing football at a competitive level.
  • Strong understanding of football rules and strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 2-3 years of successful experience working with student athletes, preferably in a college or high level high school environment or related field.  
  • High level of knowledge of the rules, techniques and skills of football.
