The Deputy Athletic Director serves as the number two administrator in the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics (DIA) and, in consultation with the Director of Athletics, provides daily oversight of all internal operations. The Deputy Athletic Director also serves as a departmental liaison with various campus units and community groups. The position is actively involved in all departmental affairs including long-range planning and policy formulation, the Deputy Athletic Director will also have direct oversight activity over specific support units, and secondary oversight responsibilities for selected sports.

Will work nights and weekends
Education: Required: Bachelor’s degree in sport administration, business administration, communications, or other closely related field Experience: Required:. At least ten (10) years of administrative experience at the Division I level.
Preferred: A Master’s degree in same areas as above is preferred
This is a 100% full-time Academic Professional position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 6/1/2026. Salary range is $350,000 - $450,000 and commensurate with experience. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.
