Job Description

This position requires a willingness to average 30-40 prospect and donor visits quarterly. It is expected that 60% of the incumbent's time be spent with or working on gift prospects.

To successfully carry out these objectives, this position is expected to have the seasoned interpersonal skills and abilities necessary to successfully interact with diverse public and academic constituencies including prominent citizens, elected officials, CEOs and major prospective donors as well as with University administration, faculty, staff and students. The incumbent is expected to be articulate both in speaking and writing to public audiences and be able to motivate, lead and work well with others in support of UAA and Seawolf Athletics.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field with a minimum of two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience. 2-5 years of development or revenue generation experience.

A valid driver's license and clean driving record in compliance with UA Safe Driving Criteria is required.

Position Details:

This position is located on the Anchorage campus in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary andfull employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on theUA staff salary schedule, Grade 81, based on education and experience.
