Job Description:
Summary
The development officer for athletics will have direct oversight, vision, and execution of the Bellarmine individual giving strategy for athletics. This position will secure major gifts primarily for athletics and will develop partnerships with athletics leaders.
Essential Functions:
Major Tasks and Responsibilities - Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward major gifts from a core group of prospects and donors.
This position will be in a basic office environment and is a full-time, 12 month per year position and will require evening and weekend work. Travel away from Bellarmine University, by car or other means of transportation, is required. This job description identifies the key responsibilities and expectations for performance. It cannot encompass all specific job tasks that an employee may be required to perform. Employees are required to follow any other job-related instructions and perform job-related duties as may be reasonably assigned by their supervisor.
