The Digital Content and Broadcasting Manager serves as the primary contact for multiple projects to support varsity athletic teams and the broader Athletics department at Boston University, an NCAA Division I institution and a member of the Patriot League and Hockey East. This position supports Marketing and Communications (MarCom) unit initiatives, in order to meet the external operations objectives of the department and assigned teams. The selected candidate will design and produce digital content for select platforms to advance the units storytelling capabilities; produce in-house live event broadcasts for select sports; oversee videoboard run of show for select contests in a manner that excites attendees; work collaboratively with a variety of groups to support management of projects which may include (but are not limited to) spirit squad logistics, social media strategy, and community relations efforts as assigned; aid in the supervision of student interns and game day employees as assigned.
Required Skills
- B.A./B.S. with knowledge of and adherence to NCAA, conference and University rules and regulations required.
- One to three years of experience.
