Job Summary:
Reporting to the Assistant Athletics Director of Business Operations, the Director ofOperations – Olympic Sports will play an integral role in the day-to-day management ofathletic operations. The Director of Operations – Olympic Sports will be responsible forprocessing of business documents such as journal entries, purchase orders, invoices andcoordinating travel. The Director of Operations – Olympic Sports will assist in identifyingcost saving initiatives and creating operational efficiencies for Department business relatedfunctions. Performs other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletics Director of BusinessOperations.
Essential Functions of Position:
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Sports Management, or related field. A minimum of 3 years of directly related experience in financial and operations management. A minimum of 1 year experience in Division I collegiate athletics. Prior Experience in reconciliation management and reporting. Demonstrated budget and financial reporting experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred:
2-4 years plus of directly related experience.
Required Skills & Abilities:
