The Athletics Department is dedicated to excellence in collegiate sports, building a modern model of intercollegiate athletics fostering a culture of integrity, innovation, and student-athlete success.
The Director, Aquatics will manage all aquatic programs at the Hillenbrand Aquatic Center, including oversight of non-University events. The Director will hire, train, evaluate, and supervise all staff, lifeguards, and volunteers. The position will also direct the overall operations of the facility including but not limited to, budget, equipment maintenance, capital improvements, safety and risk management. The Director may be required to attend conferences, workshops, seminars, and meetings for professional development purposes.
This position requires the ability work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and travel as needed.

Responsible for all phases of aquatic programming at Hillenbrand Center. Including scheduling of team functions, practices, events, and outside rentals and events.
Responsible for the overall organization and administration of the aquatic center including but not limited to: maintenance, equipment, budget, safety/risk management, staffing and programming.
Resolves complaints and/or problems associated with aquatic facility and various programs surrounding the facility.
Manages vendors and contractors to ensure facility is maintained properly and follows all OSHA safety rules and regulations.
Oversee Budget for facility, including personnel budget, maintenance budget, capital projects, and daily operations budget.
This includes prioritizing expenditures within operating budget while not sacrificing safety.
Oversee personnel budget and manage all credits and debits related to personnel expenses.
Oversee fee structure for rental of facility.
Prepares and executes contracts for facility supplies, rentals, and repairs.
Manages full-time staff ensuring staffing needs are met during hours of operation. Oversees hiring, performance improvement, and scheduling of full-time staff.
Develops Aquatic Center policies and procedures, continuous review process followed to ensure safety of athletes is top priority.
