Job Summary:

Oversee and manage Softball daily office operations. Manage and coordinate the organization of the Softball Office and build an effective work unit. Oversee and manage matters pertaining to Softball Program, equipment management, team travel and student-athletes.

-Travel is required in performing this job: In and Out of state Team travel and various athletic functions at various times of the year.

-Normal work schedule is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. However, circumstances will arise that make it necessary for employee to be able to work weekends and evenings during annual events, i.e.: recruiting weekends, game days, junior recruit days, clinics, etc.

Due to communication expectations of the position, the incumbent will be required to maintain a cellular or other electronic communication device. The incumbent's salary includes compensation to apply toward the use of their personal cellular device.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Athletics, or related field.

Two years athletic administrative or coaching experience.

Ability to handle multiple work assignments simultaneously. Knowledge of NCAA, Big XII Conference rules and regulations. Knowledge of computer hardware and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Business, Athletics or related field.

Three years with NCAA Division I Athletic Administration or Coaching. NCAA Division I Athletics experience. Knowledge of NCAA and Big XII Conference rules pertaining to Division 1-A Athletics.
