Head Coach Essential Duties
A Head Coach within the Whittier College athletic program will be responsible to organize and direct all aspects of an NCAA Division III program. The Head Coach for Men’s and Women’s Swim & Dive will report to the Executive Director of Athletics for all matters related to the program and will work closely with Admissions, faculty, administration, and staff to help advance Whittier College athletics. This position shall be responsible for providing a positive environment for its student-athletes to succeed socially, academically, and in competition. The men’s and women’s programs will be a part of the NCAA and will function as a member of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC). This position is instrumental in determining the foundation and direction of both men’s and women’s programs.

Director of Aquatics Essential Duties
The Director of Aquatics will manage the Slade Aquatics Center. It is the aquatics director's task to ensure safety in and around any pool, adhere to health protocols, and help promote and create pool-related activities. It is also the aquatic director's job to ensure that all safety protocols imposed by Whittier College are followed and that all safety measures are observed. The aquatic director's added responsibility is to educate people on all safety policies, have an experienced lifeguard corps ready for emergencies and ensure the fun and experience of people using all aquatic facilities.
Have a presence within the office on all business days and keeps the Executive Director of Athletics informed about his/her program.
Must work effectively with the students, faculty, staff, alumni, and administration.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Athletics.
