JOB SUMMARY
The University of Connecticut Division of Athletics is accepting applications for the full-time position of Director of Athletic Administration Operations. The Director of Athletic Administration Operations will provide support for the coordination and execution of day-to-day operations within the Division of Athletics. This position will support the Director of Athletics (AD), Deputy Director(s) of Athletics, and other senior leadership within the Division of Athletics.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will manage the calendar of the AD & Executive Team; schedule and coordinate meetings for the AD & Executive Team; schedule and arrange travel for the executive team; manage the athletic director general email account; process travel reimbursements and foundation disbursements for the executive team; office supply orders; handle sensitive and confidential information; serve as liaison to the president’s office and other constituents including supporting the efforts of donor events on behalf of the athletic director; special projects; and perform additional duties as assigned by the AD, Deputy Director(s) of Athletics, and/or members of the athletics executive team. The successful candidate must have a willingness to work flexible and irregular hours.

Apply NowMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree; 2+ years of experience working in professional setting; prior experience in scheduling meetings or maintaining a department master calendar for internal and external events; proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); demonstrated working knowledge of NCAA regulations; excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree; experience working in college athletics setting; prior experience handling sensitive information and projects; experience managing athletic and/or donor events; prior experience scheduling and taking meeting minutes.
APPOINTMENT TERMS
Salary is commensurate with experience.
