TITLE: Director of Athletic Communications
FLSA STATUS: Exempt (Salary) Full-Time
DEPARTMENT: Athletics
REPORTS TO: Director or Intercollegiate Athletics
PRIMARY PURPOSE / POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Athletic Communications is a full-time position in the Department of Athletics. The position reports to the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Director of Athletic Communications is sensitive to the needs of a diverse student body and is committed to assisting the Department of Athletics in enhancing and supporting the student development experience consistent with the mission of a Sinsinawa Dominican Catholic liberal arts university.

JOB COMPONENTS / PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Director of Athletic Communication is responsible for but not limited to:
Managing Department of Athletics events including:
Maintaining inventory of Department of Athletics electronic equipment and record books;
Assisting with the Department of Athletics special events; including coordinating and serving on the Hall of Fame committee;
Serving as the liaison to University departments such as Marketing and Communications, External Engagements and Information Technology.
Accepting and fulfilling other duties as assigned.
