The Director of Athletic Marketing and Enrollment Communication will serve as a leader in the Department of Athletics in support of its mission, vision, and values. This role will be responsible for the coordination and strategic development, implementation, and activation of comprehensive marketing strategies. The role will also consist of sponsorship implementation, social media, fan engagement, and organizational branding outreach. The role will work collaboratively with Enrollment Management to enhance recruitment communications, market reach, and social media impact & relevance.

Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large

Assist in the long-range strategic planning, outcomes-assessment processes, and day-to-day operation of the Department of Athletics

Work to create positive publicity for the academic and athletic achievements as well as community service initiatives for the Department of Athletics

Execute a public relations and marketing strategy that includes long and short-range marketing planning for athletics as well as each individual program. (Social media, fan engagement, and organizational branding outreach)

Serve as liaison between the Department of Athletics and Student Services and provide oversight for the Student Reward System

Oversight of athletic department booster program, L Club and continue to build and foster relationships with donors, supporters, and fans.

Provide strategic leadership for fundraising and promotional activities of the L Club and work with University Advancement to maintain donor lists and periodic correspondence with alumni and supporters of athletics

Develop and promote all marketing strategies tied to the L Club and game sponsorship agreements within the Department of Athletics

Supervision and oversight of the department s graduate assistants, student employees and internship programs

Develop and implement Sport-specific and department-wide marketing plans and oversight of long-range planning for marketing initiatives and events to increase brand awareness, fan loyalty, student attendance, and revenue generation

Oversee game/event management operations including overseeing marketing activities and implementing game management protocols

Collaborate with corporate sponsorships to help facilitate incremental corporate sales, and sponsorship implementation

Develop a comprehensive plan and calendar to effectively communicate (emails, social media, phone blasts, fan guides, other written communication) with athletic supporters and ticket purchases for all sports.
