GENERAL PURPOSE
The Director of Athletics provides strategic leadership, vision, and oversight for Molloy University’s intercollegiate athletics program. This senior leader is responsible for fostering an environment that supports the holistic development, academic success, and competitive excellence of student-athletes while upholding the University’s Dominican mission and core values. The Director oversees all athletic operations, including budget management, compliance with NCAA and conference regulations, personnel supervision, recruitment and retention initiatives, facilities, and game operations. The position collaborates closely with campus partners to enhance school spirit, elevate the student experience, and strengthen community engagement. The Director of Athletics represents Molloy University to external organizations, alumni, donors, and the broader athletic community, advancing the visibility, integrity, and long-term success of Molloy Athletics.

SALARY INFORMATION
When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring annual salary for this position is between $135,000 to $175,000. This annual salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
