| Job Description |
The Director of Athletics is responsible for the overall management, planning, and direction of UVI’s athletics program.This role includes program development, compliance, budget administration, staff supervision, student-athletesupport, community engagement, and oversight of the Wellness Center and Sports and Fitness Center.The Director will foster a culture of excellence, accountability, customer service, and community engagementwhile advancing the mission and values of the University.

| Required Qualifications |
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
Eight to ten years of progressive experience as an Athletic Director or senior athletics administrator.Demonstrated knowledge of NAIA rules, regulations, governance, and organizational structure.

| Preferred Qualifications |
Preference will be given to candidates who have shown an ability to grow an athletics program, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and successfully raise funds and sponsorships for athletics at the collegiate level.

| Physical Demands |
Fast paced environment, especially with regard to facilities management and engaging athletes.
