The Naval Academy Athletic Association (NAAA), founded in 1891, is a nonprofit organization whose objective is to "promote, influence, and assist in financing the varsity athletic programs of the midshipmen of the United States Naval Academy" in accordance with the policy of the Superintendent of the Academy. Through an intercollegiate athletics program that is one of the largest in the country, every midshipman is afforded the opportunity to compete in athletics at the Division I level. The emphasis on physical fitness is borne out in the first line of the mission of the U.S. Naval Academy: To develop midshipmen morally, mentally and physically.
Summary
The Director of Basketball Operations for Women’s Basketball will complete administrative duties and projects assigned by the Head Coach, including managing all aspects of team travel, coordinating special events, collaborating on and overseeing financial reports, and maintaining a fiscally responsible budget.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage team travel, including arranging flights (manifests), buses, hotel accommodations, developing itineraries and schedules, managing per diem, and making alternate arrangements when unexpected situations arise.
At the direction of the Women’s Basketball coaching staff, coordinate events ( ie alumni nights) including schedules, hotel and meal arrangements.
At the direction of the Head Coach, assists to maintain a fiscally responsible program and assists with maintaining a balanced budget.
Work collaboratively with staff as the financial reviewer for travel vouchers, employee expense vouchers, departmental purchase requisitions, apparel and equipment, credit card reconciliations, and all purchases that will affect the budget.

Must be eligible to work in the United States of America, without sponsorship.
Must be eligible to work on a military installation, including a willingness to submit to a background screen.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
This is an in-person position.

Pay Range
$24.00 - $27.50 per hour, Maximum of 29 hours per week from September, 2026 - April, 2027
