Position Summary
The Director of Compliance will manage the day-to-day operations of the Office of Compliance Services and will help ensure that Rice University Athletics Department’s 16 varsity sports are in compliance with NCAA, American Athletic Conference and institutional regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
3 years of related experience including that gained as a student. Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations
Experience navigating NCAA systems, such as LSDBi, RSRO and the Eligibility Center
Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Willingness to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds and promote an inclusive work environment
