The Director of Football Operations manages the day-to-day operations of the
UIW
Football team and is administratively responsible for all football program events and activities. Position is also responsible for performance statistics. The Director of Football Operations reports to the Head Football Coach.

Job Duties

- Handles the day-to-day operations for the football coaching staff and all football-related activities.
- Oversees and coordinates all aspects of the football video department; ensures video quality meets expectations of the program, conference, and NCAA.
- Ensures proper arrangements are made for all team travel and meals for games. Coordinates football donor groups and other fundraising events.
- Works directly with UIW partners to ensure the football program adheres to all UIW legislation.
- Provides oversight for the planning and execution of all logistics of preseason training camp.
- Acts as the football liaison between video performance statistics and the UIW athletic training department.
- Provides oversight of all statistical information gained from performance software, and the subsequent application to student-athletes of the football program.
- Represents the football program in a professional manner, and serves as a liaison for the football program on all road games.
- Oversees the distribution, inventory, and recovery of all apparel and protective equipment.
- Coordinates transportation, set up, and breakdown of all football equipment for home and road games.
- Oversees assistant and student equipment managers.
- Manages all aspects of the football general operating, equipment, and video budget; develops budgetary analysis through advanced statistical models to ensure efficient allocation of funds.
- Coordinates collection and reporting of wearable player tracking data for practices and conducts detailed statistical analysis of performance data.
- Reports statistical findings to UIW football training and strength staff to maximize the potential of student-athletes.
- Oversees maintenance of the DVSport Database throughout the season.
- Works with third-party analytics companies to properly apply statistical action to game plan management.
- Supervises all statistical performance tracking relating to UIW football, to ensure it meets conference and NCAA guidelines.
- Coordinates weekly meetings with health staff to relay statistical information received through advanced monitoring systems such as Catapult.
- Ensures compliance with NCAA, Conference, and UIW regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proficient in event management from inception to full execution.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.

| Required Work Experience |
Two (2) years of comprehensive football operations experience. Note that relevant coaching experience or operations experience in alternate sport will be considered.

Must have a valid driver license, driving record that is insurable by UIW insurance carrier, and be at least 21 years of age, as required to drive for UIW.

Typical Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with flexibility to include extended hours as needed to meet practice and game schedule. Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to lift development materials weighing up to 25 pounds waist high.
